Sunday’s talk will be given by Valerie Cary, one of our Prayer Chaplains and long-time member of our spiritual community. In the past, Valerie has served on our congregation Board and is currently pursuing her Licensed Unity Teacher certification. She’s excited to share with us ideas for maintaining a peaceful and loving attitude during times of difficulty.
Unity principle #3 - We create our life experiences through our way of thinking: everything in the manifest realm has its beginning in thoughts. When we experience times of trouble or chaos, our thoughts tend to turn negative – fear, doubt, anger, etc. Given we are cocreating our lives with God, we need to be in control of our thoughts! Just one of the ideas we’ll discuss on Sunday is Ho’oponopono - a traditional Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness, often used to heal relationships and resolve conflicts, emphasizing repentance, forgiveness, gratitude, and love. It’s one of the practices that we can use to intentionally create inner harmony when we are feeling unbalanced or unhappy.
Please join us on Sunday, in person or via Facebook, as we come together in community to create a world of love, harmony and abundance!
Blessings to You!
