"A Course in Miracles", for me, teaches that forgiveness is the key to healing our minds and relationships. It helps us to recognize that holding onto grievances and judgments just keeps our own upsets going. If we can forgive, I feel we can release ourselves from the past and it opens our hearts to love and understanding.
Sometimes though, I recognize how difficult it can be just to forgive even the smallest thing, however, knowing the challenge that it can produce in our body like disease, unrest, mental disorders, warrants, I think at least trying.
"A Course in Miracles" has always helped me to find a deeper understanding of how I function in this world with all my fears of life showing up in my mind. It always has shown me the power of forgiveness and how love is the answer if I really want my life to work, filling it with peace and joy.
One of the difficulties for me is when it talks about this world being an illusion. I am slowly becoming to realize that what I think and see in my mind is exactly what my outside world mimics back to me. That is a toughie sometimes because it is so much easier to blame someone else rather than accepting the result that I caused it myself. Responsibly is so much easier when shifting the blame.
"A Course in Miracle" keeps emphasizing that we operate out of fear or love. Sometimes working or acting out of fear is so unrecognizable to me that I think it’s the right way, of course, my way. It’s so easy to judge another and seeing in them what apparently is in me and not recognizing I am even doing it. I wish forgiveness was as easy as the saying goes “dropping a hat”.
When I can just look at something in another way, I see how many miracles I witness when this happens. Miracles, the course reads, are part of who I am and are an everyday occurrence if we allow them to happen. So, if you and I can keep that in mind in wanting our lives to be better and more impactful in many good ways, "A Course in Miracles", I feel is a helpful example for anyone interested in being able to do that.
"A Course in Miracles" offers a path to profound spiritual awakening. Its purpose is to help us remember our true nature as beings of love, to heal our minds though forgiveness, and to live in harmony with the Divine. By embracing its teachings, we embark on a journey of inner transformation that leads to lasting peace and joy. May we all be inspired to explore this remarkable course and experience the miracles it promises.
